Hardware Installation

Follow these steps for initial hardware setup.

  1. Connect power adapter to router and wall outlet.
  2. Connect Ethernet cable from modem to WAN port.
  3. Connect computers to LAN ports 1-4.
  4. Attach antenna securely.
  5. Power on router and wait for LED indicators to stabilize.

WARNING! Use only the provided power adapter to avoid damage.

Web Configuration

Access router settings through web browser.

  1. Connect computer to router via Ethernet cable.
  2. Open web browser and enter: http://192.168.0.1
  3. Default username: admin
  4. Default password: (leave blank)

Wireless Setup

Port Forwarding

NOTE! Ensure target device has static IP address.

Firmware Update

  1. Download latest firmware from D-Link website.
  2. Log into web configuration interface.
  3. Navigate to Tools > Firmware.
  4. Click Browse and select downloaded file.
  5. Click Upload and wait for process to complete.
  6. Do not power off router during update.
  7. Router will restart automatically.
